1. Who we are

The Works Consultancy is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is part of The Works Group, a company of The Works Holdings. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, protect and retain personal data on this website, theworksconsultancy.com, and the rights you have over it. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What this site collects

We collect what you submit through the enquiry form: your name, company or contact, and the details of what you need. If you use the site chat, we collect what you type into it, including any name, email or phone number you choose to give the assistant. We keep, in your browser only, the campaign tags of the link that brought you here (for example utm_source) and send them with your enquiry so we know which channel it came from. We also run our own cookieless page-view analytics, served from theworkscrm.ae, a domain we operate as part of the same platform: it stores your IP address only as a salted hash, keeps a random identifier in your browser local storage, respects Do Not Track and does not use advertising cookies. The voluntary feedback widget is served from the same domain.

3. Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry or chat, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not build marketing profiles from it.

4. Our legal basis

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), we process what you send through the enquiry form or site chat to take the steps you ask us to take towards working with us, and otherwise with your consent, which you give by sending it. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected].

5. Sharing

We host this site ourselves, on a Hetzner server in Helsinki, Finland, with Cloudflare at the edge. Enquiries and chat messages are handled by our own team; the site chat is answered by an AI assistant that works from published information about our services. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

6. Retention

We keep enquiry, chat and feedback data for as long as needed to handle it, then delete it.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 14 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we extend to you rights equivalent to those under the GDPR and UK GDPR.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold. No system is completely secure.

9. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai (the DIFC courts excluded).
